| I said it was friendly and I said I meant no malice by it. I am sorry my poor attempt at humor with the bogger comment made you unhappy. since that failed.... I know you don't care. Everyone picked up on that when you posted time slips on a ~1.6MB file that had a plethora of white space that could have been cut out, and that was your entire scanning bed. it's not a shiny car, it's time slips. detail and forum spilling over size is not called for. last I checked you don't pay for hosting at photodump dot org. genic did at one time, and probably still does. in other words, since your not footing the bill and someone else is, maybe you should first be more considerate to the person giving you free image hosting. that has no watermaks, or tags, being added to the image, and has had a great amount of uptime.

after being viewed a by say a few hundred people, (message views, mouse overs, ..etc) this 17x difference in size kind of starts to add up. to say nothing of having an image be 2338 pixels wide on a web forum. and making readers download such a large file when it really was not anything people needed great detail on. something like the image below works much better.
it's under 100KB. it's size is more conducive to the readers, and your generous host won't question his sanity (as much) for letting people host their images on his server, for free. hell some people here will tell me I should have don't more. and I am sure I could have made it smaller and still not lost anything. the point was just to demonstrate again that it's easy to get an image down to acceptable size. 
this is nothing new here. people are often told here to use smaller pictures, or to resize them. there are plenty of tools around to help. there probably as many posts with someone asking for pictures that don't spill over the forum page or a normal size display on here as their are about someone asking about an FMIC. CatnipZ helped dev? runs? and posted a link to http://www.phototuner.com . Just just in case you wanted/needed an easier way to resize your images. Since you uploaded the entire scanner bed and all... tools like this one might be right up you alley.
